My kids love making a drink they have taken to calling “Marshmallow-In-A-Cup Tea.” It’s fantastic for soothing dry, scratchy throats, and is much healthier than store-bought marshmallows, but just as fun for kids to make and enjoy!
In a quart-size Mason jar, combine water and marshmallow root. Refrigerate overnight or at least 4 hours. Strain the marshmallow root and discard, or set aside to re-steep again.
Warm the tea in a saucepan and add the honey and vanilla, adjusting to taste. Serve warm and enjoy!
