About Rory Groves
Rory Groves is a homesteader, author, and speaker who left his career in technology to pursue a more durable, family-centered life on the land.
Ten years ago, he and his wife Becca moved their young family from the city to a small farm in southern Minnesota. There they raise livestock, grow food, homeschool their six children, host workshops, and invite other families into the work and joy of homesteading.
Through his writing and ministry, Rory encourages Christian homesteaders and aspiring homesteaders to embrace faithful stewardship, meaningful work, and the beauty of building a life together as a family.
He is the author of Durable Trades and The Family Economy, and the new homesteader’s devotional First Gleam of Dawn. Rory and Becca run Gather & Grow, a nonprofit devoted to rebuilding strong, productive households.
