What Is Homesteading?
The word “homesteading” was originally coined by the US government in a policy that granted “free” land to settlers willing to develop and cultivate it. In more modern times, it’s come to define a movement of folks choosing to make their lives a little harder, a little less convenient, and a little more sustainable in hopes of creating a more purposeful, meaningful, connected life.
