Rotating Fields and Providing Land Rest

Pastures thrive with the right balance of rest and pruning. They deteriorate at either extreme of over-rest or over-grazing. For the record, I like to use the term prune rather than graze because in today’s politically correct environment, grazing connotes evil but pruning connotes benefits, at least so far.
