I have really enjoyed my subscription to the magazine. I look forward to it each month, especially when they feature Salatin. Some articles do seem very off the wall for a typical homesteader so some editions don’t go as far for me. But I do love the practical nature of the articles and recipes. I hope they add more offshoots into homeschooling and more homemaking.

I can’t wait for each magazine to come in. I enjoy the physical copy and have told my daughters all about them. I’ve learned so much from the special people and the willingness to teach us from their knowledge and experiences. So much effort goes into each magazine. I love it and just signed up for another year.

Love this periodical !! While some of the articles don’t pertain to me (I’m a city dweller) it has made me more intentional about how I run my home. I shop, cook, clean and do laundry the way God and nature intended. Getting back to basics is wonderful ! I thank all the contributors for their outstanding articles. The content is great. I have not come across such good content put together in one Magazine. Homestead Living may involve living off the grid, where there is no utility service apart from internet and mobile network services in some cases. My observation is that, there are no articles about off grid power for homesteads, or communication solutions where mobile networks do not exist. Maybe this is not part of the scope for this magazine. Let me know you thoughts.

I love this magazine sometimes I don’t have enough time to read them month by month, but I was on vacation for a week and I went through six of them during that week, it was really good information. I need to read them more on the month because I could use some of that information in my garden, but I love the magazine.

This magazine has been a really great supplement to other research and content on homesteading. It has led me to other great resources as well. I appreciate seeing stuff from all the big names like Salatin and Norris consistently. I do think they could eliminate some of the more wild topics or make shorter entries about them and cover more common topics for new homesteaders. Very happy with it and will subscribe again.

I love Homesteading Monthly! The articles are extremely well written, knowledgeable and helpful. There is not an overabundance of advertisements, and the ones included are relevant and interesting. There’s something special about the magazine’s paper quality too. It’s not glossy and overpowering. Somehow it feels homey, graceful. I look forward to getting my HM in the mailbox every month and setting it on my bedstand. And having access to past articles on the HL website is amazing! I am very glad I subscribed.
