I was hesitant to spend that much on a book but Im so glad I did!!! Im a newbie with herbs and have bought a few books and this is by far the best book ever! Im not much of a reader either and I cant put this one down. Just buy the book you wont regret it.

Well written, easy to understand. Good foundational information for beginning herbalism. I am a soon-to-be retired RN and I especially like how it is broken down by body systems, ie. respiratory, digestive, endocrine, etc. This makes it so easy to look up information for whatever the specific situation is we may be dealing with at a given time.

This is a luxurious book! It’s packed full of great information explained so I can easily understand and incorporate it into our homesteading lifestyle. Absolutely stunning work! I am new to my study of herbalism and have only gotten my toes into the water this year. My cousin is new to beekeeping and I am her very enthusiastic helper in that endeavor as well. First of all, this book is simply one of the most beautiful books I have ever owned! The photography is gorgeous. I need to go ahead and purchase a second copy to preserve the aesthetic because I already know that I am going to make notes in and use this copy in my kitchen. I have been skipping around reading this and that in the book but have finally simmered down to begin from the beginning and read it through cover to cover. Thank you so much for this resource! Beautiful and love this resource. At first glance, it might seem odd to navigate the book. But the more I use it and read it, I have grown to love how this book is arranged. It is unique and feels more comfortable as I become more familiar with each herb and what it does. I cannot wait to see what other resources come from Miss Kaylee. Wish I could meet her!

This is such a beautiful book. The size and quality feels like an expensive college textbook. The photos and content are engaging and informative. I’m already learning so much and I’ve barely cracked the surface. I’ve been experimenting with herbalism for a few years so I have some background but this book is helping to push me beyond a hobby. I received my book about a week ago. It is everything I hoped it would be and so much more. I am a stage 4 adult grandulosa ovarian cancer survivor and I’ve had long term chronic lyme disease since 1994. I had been waiting for this book since before it was announced! When Kaylee mentioned it was going to be a hardcover book, I knew it was going to be even better. The publishers did a fantastic job with binding and quality. The photos are phenomenal and so crisp. The most obvious part that I’ve enjoyed has to be the over abundance of information and knowledge that Kaylee poured into sharing with us—you can tell without a doubt that this book has been her baby with the amount of love she has exuded within the pages. I am so beyond happy to have something physical that connects me with other home herbalists and gardener that I will be able to pass down to my children one day.

It’s a big heavy book of knowledge garnered from extensive research and experience. I’m fairly scientifically medically familiar with terminology, but I think others will find the first 3 chapters a bit too technical or even feeling it’s just too many techniques to master.
For myself I will use it for reference of herbs to plant for my bees forage as well as our own health and culinary uses.
I wish each herb listed included a photo, growing conditions and hardiness zones. If you don’t know them, you’ll need to do additional research before wasting your time ordering seeds or transplants that will never thrive in your area.
For myself, it will be a reference book, much like a cookbook, there will be recipes often revisited and many others just glanced at once.
