Homestead Abundance – Legacy Philosophy

One of my most treasured possessions is a yellowed paper in my dad’s handwriting dating from about 1986. He passed away in February 1988 and was in declining health for about four years prior. That paper is a reminder of the man who started our farm, the man who taught me so very much about how to live and think and work. All it takes is a glance at this paper and I’m brought back to that time and place. It’s helped me as I’ve reflected on the legacy left to me and the legacy I hope to leave behind.
