My book had binding issues, when I let Melissa’s team know they directed me to the publisher and replaced it no problem. I like the charts as a reference guide. I water bath, pressure can, dehydrate and freeze dry so it is a useful tool.

Good presentation & pictures but for me not much of a use at all. I bought it but I will not use it.
I am vegan, consume no sugar, and most of the recipes have a lot of sugar. The meat preservation part is good for the meat eaters.

My mom got me this book for my birthday last year and I will definitely be wearing the pages out in it! I have done some water-bath canning with peaches, pears, and pear-sauce and I just tested my new Presto electric pressure canner on some broth using the instructions from this book and it turned out great! This is the perfect book for those who are just starting out their canning adventure and for those who have been canning for years but want the updated information! Highly recommend!!!
