Absolutely stunning work! I am new to my study of herbalism and have only gotten my toes into the water this year. Beautiful and love this resource. At first glance, it might seem odd to navigate the book. But the more I use it and read it, I have grown to love how this book is arranged. This is such a beautiful book. The size and quality feels like an expensive college textbook. The photos and content are engaging and informative. I received my book about a week ago. It is everything I hoped it would be and so much more. I had been waiting for this book since before it was announced! When Kaylee mentioned it was going to be a hardcover book, I knew it was going to be even better. The publishers did a fantastic job with binding and quality. The photos are phenomenal and so crisp. The most obvious part that I’ve enjoyed has to be the over abundance of information and knowledge that Kaylee poured into sharing with us—you can tell without a doubt that this book has been her baby with the amount of love she has exuded within the pages. I am so beyond happy to have something physical that connects me with other home herbalists and gardener that I will be able to pass down to my children one day.

It’s a big heavy book of knowledge garnered from extensive research and experience. I’m fairly scientifically medically familiar with terminology, but I think others will find the first 3 chapters a bit too technical or even feeling it’s just too many techniques to master.
For myself I will use it for reference of herbs to plant for my bees forage as well as our own health and culinary uses.
I wish each herb listed included a photo, growing conditions and hardiness zones. If you don’t know them, you’ll need to do additional research before wasting your time ordering seeds or transplants that will never thrive in your area.
For myself, it will be a reference book, much like a cookbook, there will be recipes often revisited and many others just glanced at once.
